In 2000 CMJ put out a Smashing Pumpkins parody comic strip that compared Billy Corgan to Charlie Brown, a sadsack musician who bemoans the changing music industry with the help of his bandmates James Iha (Linus), D’Arcy (Sally) and Melissa Auf Der Maur (Peppermint Patty). It’s hilariously spot-on and makes me wish CMJ still existed, which is rare. Click Here for the full 6-page comic.
