Pitchfork posted this article about how girl bands grapple with the riot grrrl legacy, but I call bullshit on it because the biggest girl-fronted bands in the ’90s were never considered riot grrrls i.e. L7, Babes in Toyland, Hole, Breeders, PJ Harvey, Liz Phair, Elastica, Throwing Muses, Belly, Juliana Hatfield, Kim Gordan, Slant 6, Heavenly, Fastbacks, and on and on and on.
